Revenue Growth Strategist
Positioning
You will own the pricing and revenue-growth architecture across five monetization models feeding off one audience — the hardest problem in this business isn't getting attention, it's not leaving money on the table once you have it.
About Astro Arun Pandit A 51+ year legacy astrology and spiritual-guidance business built around a founder with 2.4M+ Instagram and 2.75M+ YouTube followers, serving customers across 82+ countries. One audience is monetized through five structurally different models: paid consultations, one-time digital reports, tiered education via Occultgurukul.com, e-commerce via Gemsmantra.com, and occasion-triggered puja bookings — plus an emerging subscription layer in the Horocosmo app.
The Mandate In your first three months, you will design and ship a unified pricing and revenue-growth architecture across all five revenue lines, delivering a measurable improvement in blended margin and customer lifetime value without cannibalizing any existing vertical. You own the roadmap — you don't just recommend it.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and run a cross-vertical pricing framework across consultations, reports, courses, e-commerce, and rituals, using structured price experiments to find each vertical's revenue-maximizing point without eroding volume.
- Map the customer monetization journey (free tool → consultation → report → course → product → subscription) and define the sequencing and pricing logic that maximizes lifetime value while preventing tier cannibalization.
- Own unit economics and margin analysis per vertical, identifying which products subsidize acquisition versus drive profit, and adjust pricing and packaging accordingly.
- Design revenue model structures — subscription, transactional, or bundled — for new and existing offerings, starting with formalizing the Horocosmo app's subscription economics.
- Conduct willingness-to-pay and competitive research specific to spiritual-services, edtech,
and D2C wellness markets to anchor pricing decisions in evidence rather than intuition.
- Partner with product, content, and consultation teams to instrument revenue tracking and build forecasting models leadership can rely on for planning.
- Build and maintain the revenue and pricing dashboards leadership uses to make weekly and quarterly decisions.
- Establish and lead a small pricing/revenue analytics function, hiring and directing analysts as the revenue-growth roadmap scales.
Success Metrics
- Blended ARPU and LTV growth across the five verticals, tracked quarterly.
- Margin improvement by vertical against a documented baseline.
- Price-test win rate — the share of pricing experiments that beat the control on revenue or margin.
- Cross-sell/upsell attach rate along the defined customer journey.
- Forecast accuracy of revenue models against actuals.
- Revenue per active customer, tracked across the full monetization stack rather than any single vertical.
Milestones — 3 / 6 / 12 Months
- 3 months: Complete a full audit of pricing and unit economics across all five verticals; present a prioritized revenue-growth roadmap.
- 6 months: Ship and measure the first two cross-vertical price or packaging experiments, with a documented lift in margin or attach rate.
- 12 months: Hit blended LTV and margin targets; embed a repeatable pricing-experimentation system; run a pricing/analytics function that operates without your day-to-day involvement in the mechanics.
Required Experience & Capabilities Must-have
- 6–10 years in revenue growth, pricing, or monetization roles,
with direct ownership of a P&L; or pricing model.
- Demonstrated experience moving between subscription, transactional, course/cohort, and e-commerce economics.
- Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills — able to build and defend a pricing model from first principles.
- Proven ability to influence founders and executives without formal authority over them.
Solid plus
- Experience in creator-economy, edtech, D2C, or subscription-app businesses.
- Experience in a founder-led or personal-brand-driven company.
- Exposure to India plus cross-border commerce, given the business's reach across 195+/82+ countries.
Competencies & Traits
- Structured problem-solving under ambiguity — builds a pricing framework where no clean precedent exists.
- Commercial storytelling to non-technical founders — turns modeling into decisions leadership will actually act on.
- Bias to experimentation with statistical rigor — tests before scaling, and knows a real result from noise.
- Systems thinking across a multi-vertical business — sees how a pricing change in one vertical moves the others.
- Ownership of outcomes, not just recommendations — treats the revenue number as personally accountable.
Compensation Philosophy Compensation includes a fixed base plus a variable/incentive component tied directly to the success metrics above — you are paid for the outcomes you own, not just the work you do. A specific band will be shared during the interview process based on experience and scope.
Location, Reporting Line & Working Style
Reports directly to the founder/CXO. Based out of the company's Noida office, with flexibility for a hybrid rhythm where the work allows it. In keeping with how the company operates, you'll have real latitude in how you organize your work — the mandate above is the only fixed constraint.
