Return Department Manager

:

We are looking for an organized and analytical Return Department Manager to lead our reverse logistics operations.

In this role, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of returned products, from the moment they arrive at our warehouse until their final disposition.

You will supervise the returns staff, analyze return data to minimize financial losses, and collaborate with multiple teams to create smooth, customer-friendly return strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Direct the flow of all returned products, including receiving, inspection, sorting, and final disposition.
- Categorize returns accurately into restock, refurbish, return-to-vendor (RTV), or scrap.
- Resolve escalated return issues and handle complex customer or vendor discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and shipping partners to resolve transit damages and claim vendor credits.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

- Supervise warehouse and returns staff on a daily basis.
- Assign daily tasks to ensure a balanced, efficient workflow without bottlenecks.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training on safety and product inspection standards.

Strategy, Data & Compliance:





- Analyze return data to identify product defects, quality issues, or workflow delays.
- To track return rates and the financial impact of returns to help the company minimize losses.
- Update and implement explicit company return guidelines, ensuring full compliance with legal and safety rules.
- Collaborate with teams in Customer Service, Warehouse, and Inventory to improve customer satisfaction and streamline operations.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: Min 5+ years in warehouse operations, logistics, or returns management.
- Strong experience supervising teams and managing staff workflows.
- Ability to read data spread sheets and turns numbers into cost-saving actions.
- Have to be well versed in MS Office – Excel,(Vlookup, H Look up), Word, PPT
- Excellent teamwork skills to bridge the gap between customer service and the warehouse
- Communication in HINDI Will be an added advantage

Work Location: MADHAVARAM, CHENNAI Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
