Role Description The Retail Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, merchandising, inventory control, and maintaining store standards.

The manager will lead and coach the store team, allocate tasks, and ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include monitoring sales performance, analyzing store metrics, implementing retail loss prevention measures, and executing promotional activities. The role also involves handling escalated customer concerns, coordinating with headquarters on stock and visual merchandising,



and ensuring the store environment reflects Knya’s brand values.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a commitment to delivering a positive in-store experience.
- Effective Communication skills for guiding team members, interacting with customers, and coordinating with cross-functional partners.
- Proficiency in Store Management, including staff scheduling, inventory oversight, basic reporting, and adherence to operational processes.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to minimize shrinkage and protect store assets.
- Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles, preferably in apparel or lifestyle brands.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using POS systems and basic digital tools for sales tracking and inventory management.
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Formal education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage, but equivalent experience will be considered.
