Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our newly opened hospital. This position is strictly for daytime hours, focusing on managing Outpatient Department (OPD) patient flow, initial consultations, ward rounds, day-care procedures, and assisting senior visiting consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Consultation & OPD Management: Examine walk-in patients, take detailed medical histories, diagnose common conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatments during day hours.
- Ward Rounds & Inpatient Monitoring: Conduct morning and afternoon ward rounds for admitted patients; monitor vital signs, track recovery progress, and update case notes.
- Specialist Coordination: Coordinate with visiting specialists and consultants for routine rounds, diagnostic reporting, and specialized treatment plans.
- Medical Documentation & Discharge: Complete admission charts, update treatment sheets, prepare accurate discharge summaries, and issue prescriptions.
- Basic Procedures & Triage:



Perform minor clinical procedures (e.g., suture removal, IV line insertions, dressing changes) and stabilize day-time walk-in emergency cases before specialist referral.
- Patient & Family Communication: Address patient queries regarding diagnostic reports, treatment routines, and post-discharge home care instructions.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

- Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
- Registration: Valid registration with the State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of clinical experience (Fresh graduates who completed internships are welcome to apply).
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Key Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, clear communication, patient empathy, and fluency in local languages.
