Role Description The Residential Interior Designer will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing interior spaces for residential projects in Bengaluru North. This is a full time, on-site role that involves meeting with clients, understanding their lifestyle and aesthetic preferences, and translating those requirements into functional and visually appealing designs. Daily tasks include developing space plans, preparing design concepts, creating mood boards and material palettes, coordinating construction drawings, and selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

The designer will collaborate with architects, contractors,



and vendors to ensure timely and accurate implementation of designs, conduct site visits, and oversee installation and finishing details. The role also involves managing project timelines, budgets, and documentation while maintaining quality and consistency across all deliverables.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design, with the ability to create functional, ergonomic residential layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles relevant to residential projects and experience translating concepts into practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in developing and reading Construction Drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and detailed joinery drawings.
- Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills, with attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and handle client interactions professionally.
- Knowledge of local materials, finishes, and residential design trends in the Indian market is an advantage.
