We’re Hiring for Research & Strategic Initiatives Intern.

JobsUPI is looking for interns to work with the Strategy team on a research project focused on rural labour markets, workforce availability and worker migration across India.

Duration: 1.5–2 months

What You’ll Work On

We have already conducted secondary research across selected districts. Your role will be to validate and build on it through primary research.

1. Primary Research: Speak with Sarpanchs/Pradhans and other local stakeholders through structured calls to validate village- and block-level data.
2. Chain of Contacts: Find contact details of Development Officers, journalists, NGOs, SHGs, local organisations and other relevant stakeholders, reach out to them and gather insights about assigned districts.
3. Data & Analysis:



Organise the information collected and analyse and compare blocks and districts to identify patterns, insights and recommendations.

- Strong communication and outreach skills.
- Comfortable speaking to people you have never interacted with.
- Ability to find relevant contacts, initiate conversations and follow up.
- Valuable research and organisational skills.
- Interest in data analysis, research or strategy.
- Ability to commit for the full project duration.
