Overview

Client is seeking qualified suppliers to provide offshore or nearshore IT outsourcing staffing support for IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) and related components such as:

- Information Governance Catalog (IGC)

- Knowledge Catalog (IKC)

- Manta metadata tools

The objective is to transition existing onshore FTE responsibilities to lower-cost locations (India, LATAM) while maintaining high-quality operational support.

The engagement will span 30 months starting January 2026 , following the completion of contracting by December 2025.

Suppliers will be responsible for L1/L2/L3 support, patching, upgrades, compliance, performance optimization, and coordination with client and IBM teams. Expertise in Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and ITIL is required. 2.

Scope & Key Responsibilities





- Provide 24x7 L1/L2/L3 operational support for IBM CP4D and related components (IGC, IKC, Manta).

- Maintain and monitor OpenShift clusters running CP4D workloads in Azure (ARO) .

- Manage patching, upgrades, backup/restoration , and change coordination.

- Troubleshoot metadata management, data lineage, and integration issues.

- Collaborate with Client, IBM, and application teams on case management and escalations.

- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and automation for routine activities.

- Ensure security, compliance, and platform availability .

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D) , especially IGC and Manta .

- Expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift , and Azure (ARO) environments.

- Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).

- Solid troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Experience supporting enterprise-grade data governance and metadata platforms .
