Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Reporter role based in Delhi, India. The Reporter is responsible for identifying newsworthy stories, conducting interviews, verifying facts, and producing clear, accurate, and compelling news articles on a regular basis.

Day-to-day tasks include attending events and briefings, building and maintaining sources, researching background information, and collaborating with editors to refine story angles and meet deadlines. The role may involve creating multimedia content such as photos, short videos, or social media posts to complement written reporting. The Reporter is expected to follow newsroom standards, adhere to journalistic ethics, and contribute to consistent, high-quality coverage of local, national, or specialty beats as assigned.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills, including the ability to gather information, verify facts, and produce clear, concise stories under deadline.




- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to conduct interviews, explain complex topics, and adapt content for different audiences and formats.
- Candidates should possess foundational Multimedia skills, such as basic photography, video capture, or social media content creation, to support digital storytelling.
- Candidates should have solid editorial judgment, knowledge of journalistic ethics, and familiarity with current events and media laws relevant to reporting.
- Candidates should ideally have a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field, along with prior newsroom or reporting experience.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Delhi, manage multiple assignments, collaborate with editorial teams, and remain calm and organized in quick-paced news environments.
