About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain & Sourcing Coordinator to manage our end-to-end inbound logistics process while also driving supplier sourcing and cost analysis. This role blends shipment/customs coordination with procurement — you'll track containers from origin to warehouse, and also identify new supplier opportunities, gather quotations, and build out cost sheets to support purchasing decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Shipment Coordination
- Track shipments and containers from origin to destination using shipping line portals
- Enter and maintain shipping documents including BL, invoice, packing list, and arrival notices in ERP systems
- Coordinate with clearing and customs agents to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance
- Liaise with transporters/truckers to arrange container pickup and delivery to warehouse
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to arrange container deliveries
- Monitor vessel schedules, ETD/ETA changes, and proactively flag delays
- Maintain container-wise tracking sheets and share regular status updates with internal teams
Sourcing & Procurement
- Research and identify new suppliers across target categories and regions
- Reach out to prospective suppliers and request product quotations
- Evaluate supplier quotations for pricing, MOQs, lead times, and terms
- Prepare and maintain detailed cost sheets (landed cost, duties, freight, and margin calculations) to support pricing and purchasing decisions
- Compare vendor pricing and performance to support sourcing recommendations
- Maintain organized records of supplier communications, quotes, and pricing history
Planning & Inventory Support
- Support inventory replenishment by ensuring timely availability of inbound stock
- Prepare and update forecasting and replenishment data based on sales, inventory, and inbound supply
- Assist in preparing overstock inventory reports
Qualifications
- Experience in international trade and/or global supply chain operations considered an asset
- Prior experience in sourcing, procurement, or vendor negotiation is a strong asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, build cost sheets, and evaluate vendor & customer performance
- Proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with international partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) — advanced Excel skills preferred for cost sheet preparation
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
