Remote Internship – Building Automation / Smart City Platform Engineers (Niagara N4)

About the Role

We're looking for engineers to join a smart city building automation platform initiative, working with Tridium Niagara N4 to develop and integrate systems for large-scale infrastructure. This is a remote, offsite internship suited to candidates who can work independently and communicate clearly across time zones.

What You'll Work On

- Niagara N4 station configuration, programming, and integration
- BACnet, Modbus, and MQTT protocol-based device integration
- Dashboard/UI development for building and energy monitoring systems
- Supporting documentation, testing, and commissioning workflows for a large-scale smart city deployment

Who We're Looking For

- Fresh graduates (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related)



with strong fundamentals and eagerness to learn
- OR candidates with relevant hands-on experience/training in BMS, BAS, or Niagara N4
- Familiarity with building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, MQTT) is a plus but not mandatory for freshers
- Self-motivated, comfortable working remotely, valuable written/verbal communication

Stipend A stipend will be provided. Candidates who can demonstrate relevant skills and contribute immediately will be considered for a higher stipend based on their level of readiness.
