We are seeking an experienced Workday Release Manager to lead the planning, governance, testing, and deployment of Workday bi-annual releases and ongoing configuration changes across Workday HCM and related modules. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday release management, stakeholder coordination, tenant strategy, regression testing, change management, and production deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Workday release management lifecycle for bi-annual Workday updates and monthly production changes.
- Develop and maintain the Workday release calendar, deployment schedule, and governance framework.
- Assess Workday release notes and evaluate the business impact of new features and enhancements.
- Coordinate with Functional, Technical, Integration, Security, and Business teams for release planning and execution.
- Define and manage Workday tenant strategy (Preview, Sandbox, Implementation, Production).
- Plan and execute regression testing, UAT, defect management, and production validation.
- Manage deployment activities including configuration migration using Workday Object Transporter (OX) or equivalent deployment tools.
- Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and obtain release approvals.
- Monitor release risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, audit requirements, and change management standards.
- Track release KPIs and continuously improve release processes through automation and best practices.

- Scrum Master or Agile Certification is an advantage.
- Experience working with global Workday implementations and AMS support models.
