Role Description The Relationship Officer – SBB Working Capital Segment at Axis Bank is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhidham. The position is responsible for managing and growing relationships with small business banking customers, with a focus on working capital products and solutions.
Day-to-day activities include identifying customer needs, explaining suitable working capital and related banking products, preparing and processing proposals, and coordinating with internal teams for credit assessment and documentation. The role involves regular customer interactions, portfolio monitoring, cross-selling relevant banking services,
and ensuring high standards of service and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
The Relationship
Officer is expected to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets while maintaining strong, long-term business relationships in the local market.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Business Relationship Management and Customer Service skills to build, nurture, and retain small business banking clients.
- Candidates should possess sound Finance and Sales skills to understand working capital requirements, structure solutions, and meet business targets.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to explain products clearly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or professional certification in banking or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in business banking, MSME lending, or working capital products is preferred, along with familiarity with credit processes and documentation.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in basic banking software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of the local market in Gandhidham and surrounding areas, including business segments and industry trends, will be beneficial.
