Role Description The Relationship Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kanpur. This role is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending suitable life and general insurance products.

The Relationship

Manager will guide customers through the quote comparison process, assist with documentation, support payment and policy issuance, and resolve queries in a timely and professional manner. Day-to-day activities include regular follow-ups, maintaining accurate records in the CRM or sales system, coordinating with internal teams and insurance partners, and meeting defined sales and service targets.



The role also involves educating customers about policy features, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to a positive and trustworthy customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, handle objections, and maintain long-term client engagement.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, with experience in meeting targets and promoting financial or insurance products considered an advantage.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in explaining complex information in easy terms.
- Basic understanding of life and general insurance concepts, or willingness to learn quickly; prior experience in insurance or financial services is preferred.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and online platforms for lead management, policy processing, and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work on-site in Kanpur, collaborate with team members, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications in insurance are an added advantage.
