About the Role

Petrotech Safety Solutions is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Manager – Business Development to support our next phase of growth in South India.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Petrotech's presence across Kerala and Tamil Nadu, including establishing and growing new centres in Kochi, Kozhikode and Nagercoil.

This is a key business role involving market development, institutional and corporate partnerships, new centre establishment, student enrolment and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the establishment and business development of new Petrotech centres in Kochi, Kozhikode and Nagercoil.
- Identify suitable markets, locations and business opportunities.
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies.
- Build strong relationships with engineering colleges, universities, polytechnics, industries and corporate clients.
- Develop institutional tie-ups and strategic partnerships for HSE and professional training programmes.
- Drive student enquiries, admissions and course enrolments across the region.
- Generate corporate training and consultancy opportunities.
- Coordinate regional marketing activities with the Digital Marketing team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
- Establish and manage local business development/admission teams as required.
- Set and monitor monthly enrolment, sales and revenue targets.
- Ensure new centres achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
- Identify further opportunities for Petrotech's growth across South India.
- Report regional business performance and development plans directly to Management.

Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing,



Management or a related discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, Regional Sales, Branch Management or similar roles.
- Experience in Education, EdTech, Professional Training, Skill Development or Training Institutes will be highly preferred.
- Experience in developing current territories or establishing new branches/centres is an advantage.
- Strong networking, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially focused with a strong understanding of sales, revenue and business growth.
- Ability to independently develop a new market and build a local business network.
- Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Malayalam and/or Tamil communication skills will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Compensation

Competitive salary + attractive performance-based incentives, based on experience and demonstrated capability.

Candidates with proven experience in education/training business development, regional operations or successfully developing new centres will be given preference.
