nWe are looking for an experienced API Microservices Developer to work in the API Management team. You are expected to provide technical skills in software engineering, testing, and deployment. You will be required to have work experience with Java and API development. Experience with the Avaloq Banking Suite is added bonus. The main focus will be on supporting our Change Portfolio with the design and development of backend services.

nResponsibilities:
n

nDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based APIs and microservices.
nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs.
nEnsure best practices in software development, including clean code, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
nCollaborate with DevOps, QA, frontend, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
nMonitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues when needed.




nStay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
nDrive agile development practices, participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

nMandatory Skills Description:
n

n• 8+ years of experience as a Senior Java developer.
n• Degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
n• Java & Spring Boot: Strong Core Java fundamentals (Java 17-21 preferred), microservices, REST API design and error handling
n• Web technologies (e.g., Java, REST, Hibernate, TDD, Swagger/OpenAPI), web security (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
n• Event Streaming: Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven applications.
n• Cloud & Deployment: AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
n• Testing: JUnit, Mockito.
n• Security: OAuth2, JWT, API gateway familiarity.
n• Databases: Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
n• Version Control: Git, team-oriented workflows.
n• Experience on BFSI/Banking p
