Role Description This is a full time, on-site Radiologist role based at Ovum Hospitals in Bengaluru East. The Radiologist will perform and interpret a range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI, and mammography, ensuring accurate and timely reports for clinicians. The role involves collaborating closely with obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, and other specialists to support clinical decision-making, particularly in maternal and child health cases.

The Radiologist will oversee imaging protocols, ensure adherence to safety standards and radiation protection guidelines, and maintain high-quality imaging practices.



Additional responsibilities include guiding technologists, participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, and providing clear communication of findings to referring physicians.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in clinical Medicine with the ability to correlate imaging findings with patient history and clinical presentation.
- Advanced expertise in Radiology, including diagnostic interpretation across multiple modalities and experience in hospital-based imaging services.
- Competence in Medical Imaging techniques such as X-ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and image-guided procedures, with attention to image quality and safety.
- Skills in Mammography for breast imaging, screening, and diagnostic studies, including structured reporting and follow-up recommendations.
- Exposure to or understanding of Nuclear Medicine principles and applications is beneficial.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent), with valid registration with the appropriate medical council in India.
- Experience in women and child healthcare settings or tertiary care hospitals is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, strong communication skills, and commitment to ethical, patient-centered care.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru East and participate in rotational duties as required.
