Job Overview

We are looking for a Detail-Oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) specializing in billing, quantity take-offs, and cost control. You will manage the financial lifecycle of our construction projects—ensuring precise billing, subcontractor payment processing, material tracking, and cost management from project start to final handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Quantity Estimation & Take-Offs

Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material schedules, and cost estimates from structural, architectural, and MEP drawings. Conduct exact site measurements and verify completed work against contractual specifications.
1. Client & Subcontractor Billing

Prepare, submit, and track Running Account (RA) bills for clients in a timely manner. Scrutinize, verify, and certify subcontractor/vendor bills, measurement sheets, and extra-item claims.

Reconcile materials (e.g., steel, cement, finishing items) to track wastage and prevent cost overruns.

1. Cost Control & Contract Management

Monitor project expenditures against allocated budgets and flag cost variances to management.



Assist in evaluating variation orders, extra claims, and rate analysis for non-BOQ items.

Prepare monthly cost-to-complete reports and cash flow forecasts.

1. Site Coordination & Audits

Conduct periodic site visits to verify physical progress against billing claims. Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and vendors to resolve measurement or rates discrepancies.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in billing and quantity surveying (residential/commercial construction preferred).

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced formulas & shortcuts), and QS/Billing software (e.g., MSP, ERP systems, or Candy is a plus).

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of IS codes, measurement rules, standard billing procedures, and rate analysis.

Solid understanding of material consumption standards and site execution processes.

Sharp analytical mindset with high attention to numerical accuracy.

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
