Designation: Quality Engineer

Experience: 3–7 Years

Location: Irungattukottai, Sriperumbudur

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and ensure product quality as per customer and internal requirements.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of components/products.
- Check dimensions, tolerances and specifications using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, check sheets and records.
- Identify quality issues, defects and process deviations and coordinate for corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Maintenance and other departments for quality improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and support CAPA / corrective actions.
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality requirements.
- Support internal, customer and system audits.
- Monitor calibration status of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Prepare Quality MIS,



rejection reports and other quality-related reports.

Qualification & Skills
- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering.
- 3–7 years of experience in Quality / Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
- Manufacturing / Steel / Automobile industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 requirements.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments, inspection methods, 7 QC Tools and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
