Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer – Fresher to join our manufacturing team in Chakan, Pune. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting components, using quality measuring instruments, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the production and quality teams in ensuring defect-free products.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components as per drawings and quality standards.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspection using various precision measuring instruments.
- Check components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Dial Gauge, Air Pressure Gauge, Tyre Gauge, Novogauge, and other quality inspection instruments.
- Understand and apply tolerance, limits, fits, and dimensional requirements.
- Identify dimensional and visual defects in manufactured components.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality inspection reports.
- Support production teams in identifying and controlling quality issues.
- Ensure measuring instruments are used correctly and handled properly.
- Assist in rejection analysis,



defect identification, and corrective actions.
- Follow company quality procedures, inspection standards, and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of inspections.

Required Technical Knowledge The candidate should have basic knowledge of:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Dial Gauge
- Novogauge
- Air Pressure Gauge
- Tyre Gauge
- Major quality measuring and inspection instruments
- Engineering drawing reading
- Tolerance and dimensional measurement
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of quality inspection and defect identification

Eligibility
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and are interested in Quality / Manufacturing / Production are preferred.
- Candidates willing to work in Chakan, Pune will be preferred.

Compensation Salary: 16,000 per month - in hand
