We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer (QE) / SDET - Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, and software testing within the Insurance and Banking domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, driving shift-left quality practices, and leveraging Copilot and Generative AI technologies to accelerate testing, improve quality outcomes, and optimize engineering productivity.

The candidate should have hands-on experience in AI-assisted testing capabilities such as AI test case generation, AI defect triage, AI-driven test data creation, visual regression testing, self-healing automation, intelligent test prioritization, and performance test generation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end test suites.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners,



and business analysts to define quality requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD-integrated test automation pipelines.
- Develop automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks and tools.
- Perform API testing and validation using REST-based services.
- Support performance, reliability, and scalability testing initiatives.
- Drive Quality Engineering best practices and shift-left testing approaches.
- Participate in root cause analysis and defect management activities.
- Ensure compliance with Banking and Insurance regulatory and security standards.

AI & Copilot-Driven Quality Engineering

- Leverage AI tools for automated test case generation from requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Utilize AI-based defect triage to identify root causes, classify defects, and prioritize remediation.
- Generate realistic AI-driven test data for complex business scenarios.
- Implement AI-powered visual regression testing to detect UI and UX inconsistencies.
- Use Copilot-assisted BDD scaffolding for rapid creation of Gherkin scenarios and automation scripts.
- Adopt self-healing locators to reduce automation script maintenance efforts.
- Apply AI-driven test prioritization based on risk, code changes, and production usage patterns.
- Generate and optimize k6 performance test scripts using AI-assisted tooling.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar GenAI tools to accelerate automation development and quality analysis.
