Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to manage quality control and quality assurance activities in our manufacturing facility. The candidate should have strong experience in inspection, process quality, documentation, root cause analysis, and implementation of quality improvement tools in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of materials and products
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports and records
- Implement and maintain Control Plans, PPAP, MSA, and quality documentation
- Use 8QC Tools for identifying and resolving quality issues
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor product and process quality as per engineering drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance teams for quality-related issues
- Identify process deviations, defects, rework, and rejection and take corrective actions
- Conduct process and product audits as required
- Support internal and external quality audits
- Monitor and improve process capability and product quality
- Ensure proper calibration and control of measuring and testing equipment
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA, and other quality documents
- Support implementation of Kaizen, Poka Yoke, 5S, and continuous improvement activities
- Train production personnel on quality standards and procedures
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports and MIS

Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Strong experience in manufacturing industry is preferred
- Experience in mechanical, engineering, fabrication,



or industrial machinery manufacturing will be an advantage

- Experience in process audits and product quality audits
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS and internal audit practices
- Experience in reducing rejection, rework, and process defects
- Knowledge of Kaizen, Poka Yoke, 5S, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
- Strong coordination with Production, Design, Purchase, and other cross-functional teams
