Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer with strong experience in the EPC Industry. The candidate should have excellent knowledge of QA/QC activities, inspection procedures, quality documentation, client coordination, billing-related documents, reports and project documentation.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling site quality activities, inspections, documentation and client/consultant coordination.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

QA/QC & Site Quality Activities

- Monitor and ensure all site activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, codes and standards.
- Conduct and coordinate material inspections, stage inspections and final inspections.
- Ensure proper quality control during Fabrication, Erection, Piping and Mechanical Works.
- Verify work as per approved P&ID;, Isometric Drawings, GA Drawings and Project Specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Identify quality issues and ensure timely Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Quality Documentation & Reports Candidate must have solid knowledge of preparing and maintaining:

- ITP Inspection & Test Plan
- QAP Quality Assurance Plan
- Method Statements
- WIR / RFI Work Inspection Request
- MIR Material Inspection Request
- NCR Non-Conformance Report
- Observation Reports
- Inspection Reports

EPC Project Knowledge

- Strong experience in EPC Project Quality Management.
- Knowledge of Piping Fabrication & Erection.
- Knowledge of Structural Fabrication & Erection.
- Understanding of Mechanical Installation Activities.
- Knowledge of material receiving, inspection and traceability.
- Understanding of project specifications, approved drawings and technical documents.
- Coordination with Construction, Engineering, Planning and Billing Teams.

Billing & Project Documentation The candidate should have knowledge of:

- Billing Documentation
- LHS (Line / Level / Labour History Sheet, as applicable to the project)
- Abstract Sheets
- Measurement Sheets
- Work Completion Reports
- Billing Supporting Documents
- Client Billing Reports
- Quantity Verification
- Reconciliation of Documents
- Maintaining all required documents for timely billing submission.

The candidate should ensure that all Quality and Inspection Reports are properly maintained, updated and readily available for Client Submission and Billing purposes. Client & Consultant Handling





- Coordinate with Client, Consultant and Third-Party Inspection Agencies (TPI).
- Arrange and attend inspections with the client.
- Handle client queries related to quality and documentation.
- Ensure timely submission and approval of quality documents.
- Attend Quality Meetings and Review Meetings.
- Maintain professional communication with the client and internal teams.
- Close observations, punch points and NCRs within the required timeline.

Reporting & Coordination

- Prepare and maintain Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports.
- Maintain updated Inspection Status Reports.
- Maintain Quality Progress Reports.
- Track pending inspections and approvals.
- Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors for inspection readiness.
- Ensure all reports and documents are updated, accurate and ready whenever required.
