Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Control Engineer role based in Kolhapur.
The Quality Control
Engineer will perform daily inspections of fabricated metal components, structures, and piping to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
Responsibilities include monitoring production processes, performing dimensional and visual checks, documenting non-conformities, and coordinating corrective actions with the production and engineering teams. The role involves preparing quality reports, maintaining quality records,
and supporting quality audits for projects across various industrial sectors.
The Quality Control
Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality procedures, enhance process efficiency, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor and at project sites.
Qualifications
- Strong Quality Control skills with hands-on experience in inspection of metal fabrication, structures, and piping.
- Solid Quality Assurance and Quality Management abilities, including implementing and maintaining quality standards and procedures.
- Excellent Analytical Skills for interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and quality data to identify trends and issues.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for working with production teams, engineers, and clients on quality-related matters.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., fabrication, welding, and materials standards) is an advantage.
- Experience with quality tools such as checklists, inspection reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing setting, with attention to safety and detail.
