Key Responsibilities:

Test Automation Development:

- Develop and execute automated test cases for web applications and REST APIs.

- Utilize Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation tools to ensure application reliability.

- Maintain and update test scripts to align with evolving business requirements.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using JavaScript and NodeJS.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

- Perform manual testing when necessary to supplement automation efforts.

- Create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases based on project requirements.

- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

- Improve overall test coverage to enhance application stability and performance.

CI/CD & Test Integration:

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.





- Work closely with DevOps and software development teams to streamline testing processes.

Debugging & Troubleshooting:

- Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and troubleshoot automation scripts.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues impacting test automation and application quality.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.

- Provide detailed reports on test execution and application performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in test engineering with a focus on automated and manual testing.

- Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar test automation tools.

- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, and API testing with experience using Postman or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience with test case management and defect tracking tools.

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Solid understanding of debugging techniques and issue resolution in automation frameworks.

- Proficient English communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

- Familiarity with performance testing.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and best practices.

- Ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and agile methodologies.
