Qualification: B.Sc (Chemistry/Physics/related science)

Experience: Fresher

Location: Process unit (Chakan)

Role Summary:

Responsible for quality testing of incoming raw material (scrap) at the plant, ensuring grade compliance before acceptance into inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct RM inward inspection and testing (visual grading + XRF-based composition check)

Verify material against PUREMAX grade specifications (200/300/(phone hidden)/1000+)

Record and maintain testing data/logs (FMS sheet entries)

Flag off-spec material (contamination - Mn, Al, Zn, coating) for rejection/escalation

Coordinate with procurement/plant team on grade disputes

Support pre-dispatch QC checks for outgoing material where applicable





Maintain calibration records for testing equipment (XRF gun, MatScope)

Skills Required:

Basic understanding of metallurgy/chemistry fundamentals

Willingness to work on shop floor, not just lab

Attention to detail

Basic Excel/data entry skills

Comfortable working in a plant/industrial workplace
