Company Description Drifters Brewing Company was founded to bring European handcrafted beers, especially Czech-style brews, to Indian consumers. The brewery uses centuries-old, traditional processes with minimal machinery, including manual tasks like hand-picking barley husks, to achieve distinctive taste and quality.

Founders and the brew master traveled across major Indian cities such as Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai, and Gurugram to understand local preferences and design recipes suited to the Indian palate. They source malt and hops from the Czech Republic and offer an extensive variety of brews to support expansion across Maharashtra, India, and global markets. Consistency is a core value, with traditionally processed Czech malts from a four-generation business ensuring stable quality in every batch.

Role Description The QC Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining quality standards across all stages of brewing and packaging, including sampling raw materials, in-process products, and finished beers.

The QC Analyst will perform routine laboratory tests, calibrate and operate laboratory equipment, record and interpret data, and report any deviations or nonconformities. The role involves collaborating closely with brewing and production teams to implement corrective actions, support continuous improvement,



and ensure compliance with internal quality protocols and relevant industry guidelines. The QC Analyst will also assist in updating quality documentation, maintaining lab safety procedures, and supporting audits and inspections.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in quality control practices, including sampling plans, specification checks, and process monitoring.
- Hands-on laboratory skills, including handling samples, preparing reagents, and following standardized test methods.
- Ability to safely operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment used in brewing quality analysis.
- Experience with quality assurance systems, documentation, and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Technology, Brewing Science, or a related field.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately in a rapid-paced production environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with brewing, production, and operations teams.
- Familiarity with brewing processes or beverage manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Commitment to workplace safety, hygiene standards, and continuous improvement in quality practices.
