nSummary of key responsibilities
nMinimum 5 years of broad and in-depth hands-on technical and design/architect level experience in Mainframe z/OS
nExperience in a multi-site (multiple Data Center) Mainframe shop of minimum 2,000 MIPS and above.
nWork with Client/Customer, OEM & ISV Vendors, Business Partners related to all aspects of the Mainframe Platform.
nSupport various Mainframe Software (both IBM and OEM/ISV products evaluation, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc.
nDerive realistic Mainframe SLAs and design / propose architecture meeting those SLAs goals
nMainframe Licensing, TCO and ROI planning and decision making.

nYears of Experience
nMinimum 5+ years of hands-on technical and Architect experience on the Mainframe Platform as a whole (HW, SW, NW, OS and Security)

2/3/4 site GDPS & GDDR)n
- Conversant with both IBM and EMC HW and Replication methodology. Hitachi optional.n
- Mainframe Data Center Physical Planning and Designn
- Experience in IBM z14, z15 & z16 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setupn
- Experience in both IBM and EMC Disk and Tape Storage hardware, software and replication.n
- z/OS v2.x, JES2/JES3, DFSMS, SNA/VTAM & TCP/IP, RMF/SMFn
- Mainframe Tools–SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automationn
- Mainframe DB2, MQ, CICS, WAS, Control-Mn
- Mainframe Security ACF2n
- Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuningn
- Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills.n
- Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalizationn
- Hands-on experience with Hitachi VSP 5500, IBM DS8000, IBM TS7000 etc.n
- IBM-Metro/Global Mirror, Copy Services, EMC-SRDF, EMC-GDDRn
- Flash Copy, BCV-SnapVX, zDP, Protected Gua
