JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer to monitor and maintain quality standards across our high-rise building projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, quality standards and applicable IS codes.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in RCC, reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works in high-rise construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Quality Inspection & Site Monitoring

- Conduct regular inspections of construction activities at site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Inspect RCC, reinforcement, formwork, columns, beams, slabs and structural works.
- Conduct pre-pour inspections before concrete casting.
- Check reinforcement size, spacing, lap length, cover and alignment.
- Verify formwork dimensions, line, level, plumb and stability.

1. Concrete Quality Control

- Monitor concrete pouring and placement activities.
- Conduct and record slump tests and cube tests.
- Maintain concrete cube test registers and test records.
- Verify concrete grade, delivery challans and approved mix designs.
- Monitor curing procedures and concrete quality.
- Identify defects such as honeycombing, cracks and improper finishing and ensure rectification.

1. Material Quality Control

- Inspect incoming construction materials and verify quality against approved specifications.
- Check cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, waterproofing materials and other construction materials.




- Verify material test certificates and laboratory reports.
- Coordinate with approved third-party laboratories for required testing.
- Maintain material inspection and testing records.

1. Finishing Quality Control

- Inspect blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, tiling, flooring, painting and other finishing works.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment, surface finish and workmanship.
- Ensure waterproofing works are properly executed and tested.
- Identify defects and coordinate with site teams for corrective action.

1. QA/QC Documentation

- Prepare and maintain quality checklists and inspection reports.
- Maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and quality records.
- Prepare Inspection Requests (IR) wherever required.
- Raise and monitor NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for quality deviations.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions until closure.
- Maintain test reports, material approvals, calibration records and inspection documentation.
- Prepare daily and periodic quality reports.

1. Drawing & Specification Compliance

- Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants and Contractors regarding quality issues.
- Identify discrepancies before execution and prevent rework.

1. Consultant & Client Coordination

- Coordinate with consultants and client representatives during inspections.
- Attend joint inspections and quality meetings.




- Address consultant/client observations and ensure timely closure.
- Support final inspection, snagging and project handover activities.

QUALIFICATION
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Control / QA-QC
- High-rise building construction experience is mandatory/preferred.
- Candidates with experience in RCC residential/commercial high-rise projects will be preferred.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Experience in high-rise residential projects
- Experience coordinating with consultants and third-party testing laboratories

CANDIDATE PROFILE The ideal candidate should be a hands-on QC professional with minimum 3 years of high-rise construction experience, capable of independently handling site inspections, structural quality checks, concrete testing, material inspections, finishing inspections and QC documentation. High-Rise Building Experience: Mandatory / Strongly Preferred

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
