About The Job:

- We are seeking a highly skilled ETL QA Engineer with solid SQL expertise to join our enterprise data team.

- The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, data integration, and data quality assurance.

- You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of our data pipelines and ETL processes.

Essential Job Functions:

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes to ensure data integrity and quality.

- Utilize advanced SQL queries to validate data transformations, data loads, and data quality checks.

- Identify, report, and track data quality issues; collaborate with development teams to resolve defects.

- Implement and maintain regression test frameworks for ETL processes to improve testing efficiency.

- Conduct performance testing of ETL processes to ensure optimal data processing times.

- Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, test results, and testing procedures.

- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on data quality issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in ETL testing, data quality assurance, and data validation.

- Preferred working knowledge on enterprise entities (Finance/Marketing/Product/Sales)





- Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.

- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Client, Talend, SSIS, or similar.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
