KKB Talent Network is hiring an experienced QA Engineer Selenium & SQL for an urgent requirement with a Fortune 500 client. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated and functional testing solutions for applications in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, test automation frameworks, SQL/database testing, CI/CD tools, and Agile delivery practices.

The candidate should also be comfortable working with distributed onsite/offshore teams and demonstrate strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The QA Engineer will develop and maintain robust automated test solutions using Selenium WebDriver and Java, design scalable automation frameworks, create and execute functional and regression test suites, analyze test failures, and maintain automation scripts as applications evolve. The candidate will collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and distributed delivery teams to understand requirements, identify testing risks, track defects, and support timely releases. The role also involves integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, validating application and database data using SQL queries, participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and supporting onsite/offshore coordination.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver automation and proficiency in Java programming for developing and maintaining automation scripts.

Experience with TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or comparable test automation frameworks is required. Candidates should have practical experience designing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM), hybrid, data-driven,



or equivalent automation frameworks.

Experience with Jenkins, CloudBees, Git, and Bitbucket, along with integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows, is required. Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing, including writing, validating, and optimizing SQL queries, is also essential.

The candidate should have experience in functional testing, test planning, test-case preparation, regression testing, defect validation, end-to-end testing, debugging, and automation script maintenance. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in team-oriented development and testing environments are required. Relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, Payments, Capital Markets, Insurance, or related financial-domain projects is mandatory.

Experience with AI or Agentic AI tools in software testing will be considered an advantage, particularly tools that assist with test-case generation, automation maintenance, defect analysis, test-data preparation, or test execution. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, adaptable to changing technical requirements, and able to communicate testing risks and issues effectively.

Candidates must be willing to work from Chennai or Hyderabad under the applicable hybrid work model.
