QA Engineer (4-5 yrs exp) , Band E2

Location: Bangalore

Role: Software Quality Engineer (QA)

Role Description: The Software Engineer (QA) would need to have at least 4+ years of experience on Manual with Automation experience (Selenium with Java, TestNG)

Key Responsibilities:

- Very strong individual contributor in Manual testing & Good knowledge on Automation Testing
- Design high-quality test cases and execute them, troubleshoot the issues observed and perform root cause analysis for issues
- Participate in test plan reviews and test strategy review
- Design and develop Test Automation Scripts using Selenium Web Driver
- Self-starter and able to work independently.

Required Experience and Skills:

- Must have worked in all stages of testing life cycle
- Good knowledge of QA Processes and Testing Metrics
- Must have knowledge on Linux, SQL, web testing, HTTP, XML




- Hands-on experience in UI, Functional & Non-functional Testing, Webservices and APIs testing, Multi-threaded tests
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in manual testing and automation (Selenium with Java, TestNG required)
- Good communication skills
- Must be an out-of-the-box-thinker and valuable team player
- Experience with SaaS and Enterprise environments (Preferred)
- ISTQB certified or another testing-related certification (Preferred)

Software/Tools for Testing: Test Management/Defect Management Tools, Selenium, Appium, Java, TestNG, SQL, GIT, Jenkins, Browser Stack, App testing etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Experience: Minimum 4+ years
