JOB PURPOSE

- Carelon Global Solutions India is seeking for a Software Engineer I.
- Associate is responsible for collaborating with data architects to implement data models and ensure seamless integration.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

- Design and develop data ingestion pipelines to extract data from various sources to transform, aggregate and enrich the data.
- Implement Data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security and compliance.
- Design scalable, secure and effective data pipelines on AWS and snowflake aligning with business requirements and technical standards.
- Design and develop data warehousing solutions using Python and Snowflake.
- Optimize AWS and snowflake costs by implementing cost effective solutions and monitor the expenses.
- collaborate with cross functional teams( Development, Operations and Business) to ensure seamless integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex queries in Snowflake, Python and AWS.
- Ensure security and compliance best practices ,implementing controls and Monitoring.




- Provide data analytics solutions using Python, AWS and snowflake
- Stay up-to-date with innovations, features and best practices.

QUALIFICATION Requires a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 3-4 years of experience in SQL/Python.

EXPERIENCE

3-4 years of SQL and Python experience

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- SQL: Proficiency in SQL, including querying, data modelling and performance optimization
- Data Warehousing: Experience with Data warehousing concepts, including data modelling, ETL and data governance.
- Data Integration: Knowledge of data integration such as ETL, ELT or data pipelines
- Data Analytics: Familiarity with Data Analytics ensuring data quality and availability.
- In depth knowledge on Python/Pyspark.

Having knowledge on AWS and Snowflake is an added advantage.
