We are looking for a Python Developer with 2 to 5 years of experience to build backend services, automation pipelines, and data-driven features across our platform. You will work closely with product, data, and AI teams to deliver Python-powered systems that are clean, productive, and reliable in production.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Design and implement data processing and automation pipelines for internal and product-facing use cases.
- Integrate with databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Write clean, well-tested Python code with comprehensive unit and integration tests.
- Work with AI and data teams to integrate ML models and data pipelines into backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering standards across the team.
- Deploy and monitor Python services on cloud infrastructure using Docker and AWS or GCP.
- Debug and resolve production issues efficiently and document solutions for the team.
You Might Thrive in This Role If You
- Have 2 to 5 years of Python development experience with production systems.
- Are proficient with at least one Python web framework such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Have strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases at scale.
- Write clean, idiomatic Python that other engineers find readable and easy to maintain.
- Are comfortable working across backend engineering and data engineering depending on the task at hand.
Bonus If You Have
- Experience with async Python frameworks such as FastAPI or aiohttp.
- Familiarity with data engineering tools such as Airflow, dbt, or Spark.
- Knowledge of integrating ML models or LLM APIs into Python backend services.
- Experience with Celery or similar task queue frameworks.
