Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure Service Bus to design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and event-driven applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Azure Service Bus, REST APIs, asynchronous programming, messaging patterns, and cloud-based application development . The candidate will work on building distributed applications and integrating services using Azure messaging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python .
- Develop event-driven and asynchronous solutions using Azure Service Bus .
- Work extensively with Service Bus Queues, Topics, and Subscriptions .
- Implement message producers and consumers using the Azure Service Bus Python SDK .
- Develop reliable message-processing workflows with proper error handling and retry mechanisms.
- Implement dead-letter queue handling , message settlement, lock management, and message/session handling.
- Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services using Python frameworks.
- Work with asynchronous programming using asyncio and Python async APIs where required.
- Develop integrations between Azure services and Python-based applications.
- Implement authentication and authorization using Azure Identity / Microsoft Entra ID .
- Monitor application and messaging performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Optimize message processing for scalability, throughput, and reliability.
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated test cases.




- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
- Work with DevOps teams for CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills
- 5-6 years of professional experience in Python development.

- Good knowledge of JSON, HTTP, APIs, and microservices.
- Experience with Git and source-control practices.
- Positive understanding of Azure cloud services.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Functions .
- Experience with Azure App Service .
- Knowledge of Azure Storage / Blob Storage .
- Experience with Azure Key Vault .
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor / Application Insights .




- Experience with Docker and containerized applications .
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions .
- Experience with SQL databases such as SQL Server/PostgreSQL .
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and microservices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
