Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled API Developer (Backend Developer) with strong expertise in Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate should have experience in building microservices, RESTful APIs, cloud-native applications, and integrating enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python.
- Build scalable and secure microservices-based applications.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models.
- Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise applications.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend and API-related issues.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Python development.
- Hands-on experience with Django,



Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and API Security.
- Experience with Microservices Architecture.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with API Gateway and API Management platforms.
- Exposure to GenAI/AI integrations.
- Knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps practices.
- Cloud certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
