Job Title: Purchase Executive – CNC Machine Tools

Location: Mysore, Karnataka

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor development, sourcing, and purchase operations for our CNC machine manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management capabilities, and knowledge of machining, castings, and precision components.

Key Responsibilities

- Source materials, components, and services required for CNC machine manufacturing.
- Obtain quotations, perform cost comparisons, and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.
- Procure castings, fabricated parts, precision machined components, electrical items, and standard bought-out parts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Planning, Quality, and Design departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Process purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules to meet production requirements.
- Verify vendor invoices, maintain reconciliation records, and coordinate payment-related activities.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, reports, and MIS using Excel and Google Sheets.
- Perform procurement activities through SAP MM & PP modules and ensure accurate system updates.
- Support cost reduction, vendor development,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / BE / BTech / BBA / BCom / MBA.
- 2–4 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Vendor Development.
- Candidates from the CNC machine tool, engineering, manufacturing, machining, or industrial equipment industries will be preferred.
- Freshers with a strong interest in procurement and supply chain management may also apply.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of machining processes, castings, fabricated parts, and precision machined components.
- Hands-on experience with SAP MM & PP modules.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
- Vendor negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Understanding of purchase planning, inventory control, and procurement processes.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
