Responsibilities

Source products and materials as per customer/project requirements.

Identify and develop recent vendors, manufacturers and suppliers.

Collect and compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications and delivery.

Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and terms.

Conduct field visits to vendors, manufacturers, markets and showrooms.

Visit supplier locations to verify products, quality and availability.

Coordinate with vendors for orders, production, dispatch and delivery.

Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate repeat purchases.

Research the market for new products, suppliers and better pricing.

Coordinate with customers and the internal team to understand procurement requirements.

Resolve purchase-related issues, delays and quality discrepancies.

Maintain quotation, vendor and purchase records.

Travel locally for vendor meetings, market visits and procurement activities as required.
