- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational requirements.
- Plan and manage end-to-end purchasing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop reliable vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate competitive prices and terms.
- Manage Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, rate agreements, and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely availability of medical equipment, consumables, medicines, surgical items, and general materials.
- Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Coordinate with Stores, Finance, Clinical, Engineering, Housekeeping, and Administration departments.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, quality, and service levels.
- Maintain approved vendor lists and conduct periodic vendor evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval processes, GST, statutory requirements, and hospital standards.
- Manage tenders, rate contracts, and annual procurement agreements.
- Monitor market prices and conduct regular price benchmarking.
- Prepare procurement MIS, reports, and management dashboards.




- Resolve vendor-related issues, shortages, delays, and quality concerns.
- Lead and guide the purchase/procurement team.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support NABH and other regulatory compliance related to procurement and vendor management.

Qualification Essential: Graduate in any discipline.

Preferred: MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Materials Management, or related field.

Experience

12 -18 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, in Hospital & Medical College, or large corporate organization.
