Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities for an engineering and manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, vendor coordination, quotation comparison, purchase orders and ensuring timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle daily purchase requirements received from Production, Stores, Projects and Maintenance.

- Source engineering raw materials, components, hardware, fasteners, tools and consumables.

- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

- Prepare and process Purchase Orders.

- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery.

- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Projects and Accounts.

- Resolve material shortages, delayed deliveries and quality-related issues.





- Maintain vendor database and purchase records.

- Prepare purchase MIS and pending-order reports.

- Develop alternate vendors for critical materials.

- Support cost-reduction and vendor-development activities.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of purchase/procurement experience, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing industry.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel.

- Positive vendor handling and negotiation skills.

- Basic understanding of engineering materials.

- Strong communication and follow-up skills.

- ERP knowledge will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
