Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Purchase raw materials, herbal ingredients, nutraceutical ingredients, packaging materials, and other factory requirements.
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers/vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, R&D;, Stores, and Accounts departments regarding purchase requirements.
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor details, POs, invoices, and related documents.
- Monitor stock requirements and coordinate with the Store Department to avoid material shortages.
- Develop and maintain valuable relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Verify material specifications and coordinate with QA/QC for quality-related requirements.




- Handle supplier complaints, delayed deliveries, shortages, and material discrepancies.
- Maintain proper documentation and records as per company procedures.
- Support cost reduction and vendor development activities.

Required Skills

- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and ERP software.
- Ability to compare quotations and prepare purchase reports.
- Good follow-up and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines.
- Knowledge of raw materials and packaging materials used in the nutraceutical, herbal, food, or pharmaceutical industry will be an advantage.

QualificationBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in a manufacturing, nutraceutical, herbal, food, or pharmaceutical company.

Salary₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
