1. Purchase & Procurement

- Receive and process purchase requirements from Stores.

- Source and procure engineering materials, components, bought-out items, consumables and services. Procure items such as fabricated components, machined parts, sheet-metal components, fasteners, bearings, pneumatic components, electrical items, sensors, automation components, motors, gearboxes and other machine-building requirements.

- Ensure procurement is completed within required timelines and budgets.

- Obtain quotations from suitable vendors and prepare comparative statements.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial terms.

- Prepare and release Purchase Orders after obtaining necessary approvals.

- Ensure procurement priorities are aligned with production requirements.

1. Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate and develop recent vendors.

- Maintain a reliable vendor base for engineering components and services.

- Develop alternate sources for critical and frequently purchased items.

- Maintain vendor records, quotations, price history and commercial terms.

- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, cost and delivery.

- Address vendor-related quality,



shortage and delivery issues.

- Order & Delivery Follow-up

- Track all open Purchase Orders and committed delivery dates.

- Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

- Escalate delays that may affect production schedules.

- Coordinate with Stores regarding material receipt, shortages and pending deliveries.

- Resolve issues relating to incorrect, damaged, short-supplied or rejected materials.

1. Documentation

- Maintain Purchase Orders, quotations, comparative statements, approvals and vendor correspondence.

- Maintain vendor master data and purchase records.

- Maintain price history for regularly purchased items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
