Sourcing and Supplier Selection

- Identifying potential suppliers or vendors based on technical requirements.

1. Negotiation and Cost Management

- Negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

- Working to achieve cost reductions while ensuring quality standards.

1. Order Placement and Procurement

- Creating and managing purchase orders based on project or production needs.

- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

- Tracking the status of orders and ensuring accurate delivery as per the schedule.

1. Supplier Relationship Management

- Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers.

- Conducting supplier audits and evaluating their performance.

- Addressing issues related to quality, delivery, or service.

1. Inventory and Stock Control

- Managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

- Implementing inventory control systems to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

- Coordinating with the warehouse for material storage and tracking.

1. Quality Assurance and Inspection





- Inspecting received materials and components for quality and specifications.

- Coordinating with the quality control team for testing and approval.

- Handling non-conformance reports and following up with suppliers for replacements or corrections.

1. Cost Analysis and Reporting

- Analyzing price trends, market conditions, and suppliers performance.

- Preparing reports on cost savings, procurement metrics, and supplier evaluations.

- Recommending cost-saving initiatives and strategies based on data analysis.

1. Problem Resolution

- Addressing and resolving issues related to delays, shortages, or quality defects.

- Managing disputes with suppliers over pricing, terms, or quality.

- Finding alternative suppliers or materials when facing supply chain disruptions

1. ERP and Software Utilization

- Using ERP systems for procurement planning, order management, and supplier tracking.

- Updating software with procurement details to keep records up to date.

- Analyzing ERP data for trends in procurement efficiency and inventory management
