● Establish and manage proto shop infrastructure including tools, fixtures, test rigs, and modification capabilities

● Drive build planning aligned with program timelines ensuring readiness for validation and homologation

● Coordinate with engineering (BIW, trims, E&E;, powertrain, software, etc.) for build requirements, design changes, and issue resolution

● Manage engineering changes (ECR/ECN) implementation during proto builds and ensure configuration control

● Lead vehicle updates for testing (calibration, ride handling, ADAS, etc.) and support iterative development cycles

● Ensure quality of builds, fitment validation, and adherence to design intent

● Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain,



and suppliers for part readiness and build feasibility

● Support validation, homologation, and field testing teams with prototype vehicles and modifications

● Establish solid coordination with stakeholders for build standards, learnings, and issue closure

● Build and lead a high-performance proto team including technicians, engineers, and external partners

● Ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency within proto shop
