Project Procurement Manager (PPM) is the leader of the project procurement team of the project. He/ She is responsible and coordinates the overall project procurement activities of the large turnkey project in compliance with contractual requirements in terms of costs, time and quality of the supplies, following Project Director (PD)/Project Manager (PM) instructions.
Assure proper flow of procurement related information throughout the tenure of the Projects.
Provide necessary assistance to Project Manager in maintaining proper relationship with the Clients on procurement related matters during the execution of the Projects.
Preparation of Project Procurement Plan and Procedure, Project Vendor List, Project Purchase terms and condition in line with the client contract
Develop a risk management plan, including mitigation, strategies and contingency plans
Monitor and Control the compliance to procurement requirements during all stages of Project execution.
Ensure the on-schedule performance of all procurement related activities during the Project execution
Coordinate the overall procurement activities of the Project.
Review, Monitor and issue periodically the Procurement Reports
Monitor and review the Procurement milestones and schedule to ensure timely ordering and delivery of ordered material till Site.
Resolve the Commercial issues occurred during execution.
Collaborate with Inspection Dept. and other concerned technical department to ensure delivery of equipment/material as per Purchase Order terms.
Co-ordinate with logistics team to ensure timely transportation of Material to Site.
Co-ordinate with Site for information regarding proper receipt of material at site. Coordinate with Site and Vendor for requirement of Vendor Field Services during erection/commissioning.
Finalization of vendor payment list, review resolve payment issues.
Review of applicability, authorization and conclusion for Liquidated damages, back charges and Order closure.
Should consist core competencies such as - Project Procurement Strategy, Risk Assessment Mitigation, Stack holder management co-ordination, Supply Chain Optimization, Leadership Team Development, exposure of ERP system digital tools.
