1.Responsible for both In plant and External WH Successful Operation. He is a single point of Contact for the Client with respect to WH operations.
2.Ensure all the 3 shifts are being run effectively with allocated manpower.
3.As per the Client norms ensure that the team is unloading the vehicles reported, GRN taken and materials issued to Line as per Production plan shift-wise.
4.To develop the team and ensure minimum attrition and absenteeism in the shifts.
5.Need to attend daily meeting with Head SCM/Head Stores on the WH performance
6.Conduct shift communication meeting and share the points discussed with the client Management to the team for adherence and followup
7.Motivate the team to maintain both the warehouses in neat and clean and encourage them to work and provide Kaizens every month
8.Ensure correct documentation is happening for Export shipment and Dispatches
9.Maintain zero Inventory variance.
10.Maintain 5s in the WH and avoid discrepancy in receipt and dispatches by the team in Export and domestic shipments.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Diploma /BE in Mechanical /Automobile Engineering with minimum 5 years 8 years experience in a Inplant Warehouse operation in a Manufacturing Industry preferable automobile related.
2.Knowledge of Kannada is required apart from English.
