Job Description: Snowflake Engineer
Role Overview
- A Snowflake Engineer is responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based data warehouse solutions using Snowflake. The role focuses on data modeling, performance tuning, integrations, security, and enabling analytics and BI workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Snowflake data warehouse architectures
- Develop and optimize SQL queries
- Build ELT pipelines using modern data tools
- Integrate Snowflake with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Implement security, RBAC,
and governance
- Monitor and optimize performance and costs
- Enable BI, reporting, and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Robust Snowflake and SQL expertise
- Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Data modeling and warehousing concepts
- ETL/ELT pipeline experience
- Performance tuning and cost optimization skills
