Job DescriptionJob Position: Mainframe Storage Engineer Location: Mumbai/Chennai Experience: 5+ to 10+ Years Mandatory Skills: - IBM-Storage, Mainframe - IMSDB, Mainframe DB2, REXX, Z/OS Key Responsibilities • Manage and support enterprise Mainframe Storage environments in 24×7 production operations. • Perform storage implementation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and operational support. • Support z/OS I/O architecture, including CHPIDs, control units, paths, FICON, and multipathing. • Analyze and troubleshoot I/O performance using RMF, SMF, and DCOLLECT. • Work closely with z/OS Systems Programmers and infrastructure teams. • Support multi-datacenter, multi-region, and global production environments. • Participate in technical projects with minimal supervision and provide technical guidance to junior team members.



• Perform technical reviews and assist with complex storage-related problem resolution. Good to Have • Assembler knowledge • SME/team leadership experience • Experience with storage-related exits and modifications • Robust troubleshooting, communication, mentoring, and technical documentation skills.
