About the Role

SteelBazaar is building a technology-led ecosystem for the steel industry, connecting buyers, sellers, manufacturers, warehouses, logistics partners and financial services through digital products, data and AI.

We are looking for an Analytical Program Manager who can combine data-driven decision making, business analytics and robust program execution. The role will work closely with leadership and teams across corporate offices, manufacturing plants, warehouses, sales, procurement, operations, finance and technology.

What You Will Do

Business & Operational Analytics

- Analyse business performance across sales, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, customers and suppliers.
- Identify trends, bottlenecks, inefficiencies and growth opportunities through data.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and convert insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Define and track KPIs, targets and performance benchmarks across functions and locations.

Dashboards & MIS

- Build and own management, operational and performance dashboards using Power BI / Tableau / similar tools.
- Create dashboards covering sales, revenue, RFQs, conversion, inventory, ageing, plant utilisation, warehouse movement, dispatch, logistics, supplier performance and collections.
- Establish a single source of truth for key business metrics.
- Automate recurring MIS and reporting wherever possible.

Cross-Functional & Ground Operations

- Act as the bridge between corporate teams and ground operations across plants, warehouses and business locations.
- Coordinate with functional and location heads to ensure accurate, timely and actionable data.
- Track performance deviations, identify issues and drive corrective actions.




- Understand operational realities on the ground rather than relying only on dashboards.

Program Management

- Own strategic initiatives from problem identification analysis planning execution measurement.
- Define milestones, owners, timelines, dependencies and success metrics.
- Drive cross-functional programs and ensure timely closure of actions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide leadership with clear status, risks and recommendations.

AI & Automation

- Adopt an AI-first, hands-on approach to analytics and program execution.
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor, Lovable, Replit, Google AI Studio and similar tools to analyse data, build prototypes, automate reporting and create internal decision-support tools.
- Identify opportunities to use AI agents and automation for operational monitoring, alerts and reporting.

What We're Looking For

- 5-10 years experience in Business Analytics, Program Management, Business Operations, Strategy, Consulting, Product Operations or similar roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent Excel / Google Sheets and SQL capabilities.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar BI tools.
- Strong understanding of business KPIs, dashboards, performance management and data-driven decision making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional programs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable working with both senior leadership and ground-level teams.
- Strong ownership, execution orientation and ability to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

- Experience in steel, manufacturing, B2B, e-commerce, marketplace, supply chain or logistics.
- Exposure to plants, warehouses, ERP, inventory or procurement systems.
- Experience with automation, APIs, data platforms or AI/ML.
- MBA / PGDM from a reputed institution.
