About the Role

We are looking for a creative and experienced Professional Video Editor with robust hands-on expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, YouTube video editing, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, podcasts and long-form video content.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience retention, visual flow, sound and platform-specific editing styles.

Experience in spiritual, religious and devotional content, podcasts, interviews, discourses or event-based content will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, discourses, shows and event videos.
- Edit spiritual, religious and devotional programs, religious events, interviews and podcasts.
- Create engaging Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook videos and other short-form social media content.
- Convert long videos and podcasts into multiple short clips, highlights, teasers and social-media cutdowns.
- Edit videos in different formats, including 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1.
- Handle multi-camera editing, footage organization and audio/video synchronization.
- Add professional titles, subtitles, captions, transitions, lower thirds and basic motion graphics.
- Work confidently with Hindi / Devanagari subtitles and typography.
- Select appropriate B-roll, stock footage, photographs, licensed music and sound effects.
- Perform colour correction, audio cleanup, noise reduction and basic sound mixing.
- Create promos, teasers, trailers, highlights and promotional social-media videos.
- Understand how editing style, hooks,



pacing and visual changes influence YouTube and Instagram audience retention.
- Create different versions of the same content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.
- Maintain organised project files, footage, assets and final exports.
- Deliver professional-quality edits within deadlines while coordinating with the Director and Creative Team.

Required Skills
- 3–5 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good understanding of Adobe After Effects and/or DaVinci Resolve will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of YouTube video editing and social-media video editing.
- Experience editing both long-form and short-form videos.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, viewer retention and visual flow.
- Experience with multi-camera editing and synchronization.
- Good knowledge of Hindi / Devanagari subtitles, captions and typography.
- Understanding of frame rates, resolutions, codecs, aspect ratios and export settings for different digital platforms.
- Ability to perform basic colour correction, audio enhancement and sound mixing.
- Strong creative judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to independently manage multiple video projects and deadlines.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is more than just a software operator.

You should understand

- Where a video becomes slow or boring.
- How to improve the first few seconds / hook.
- Where cuts, B-roll, captions, music or visual changes are needed.
- How editing differs between a 30-second Reel and a 30-minute YouTube video.
- How to create engaging clips from long podcasts or interviews.
- How editing decisions can improve watch time and audience retention.

You should be comfortable taking raw footage and converting it into a complete, polished and engaging final video. Portfolio Requirement A portfolio / showreel or links to previously edited videos are mandatory when applying.
