Role & responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY-

- Must be conversant with all operations of the recycle and combustion system.
- Ensures proper circulations and heating of fuel oil.
- Ensures that the recycle equipment is mechanically sound.
- Checks the recycle feed chutes and takes care to prevent plugging.
- Frequently checks cyclones and hoppers and ensures that they are always clean to avoid pollution.
- Assists panel operator in starting and stopping of the recycle system.
- Ensures that urea, filler and seed feeders are delivering the rates output by doing actual calibration as per proper procedures and ensure that material is in free flow.
- Must have experience DAP,PAP department.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY-

- Takes necessary precautions to prevent loss of inventories.
- Checks steam flow, to the slurry to granulator.
- Keeps the launders clean.
- Checks all the equipments like pumps, agitator etc., under his section.
- Recover any spillage of slurry liquor through the pump.
- Responsible for positive housekeeping of the scrubber.
